Challenge

Bloomingdale's is a United States cultural icon. Before Christmas, their packaging supplier in the U.S. faced serious challenges that prevented them from providing Bloomingdale's its holiday packaging needs. Bloomingdale's contacted SigmaQ to produce its holiday season packaging needs in a record time...one month. An enormous challenge!

Response

The work for Bloomingdale's included the redesign of its holiday packaging line that enabled the holiday gift box program to reflect their new image. This was acheived utilizing a mixture of stock materials (labels and ribbons) and our own custom printed papers and hotstamping capabilities. The line was distributed on time from our facilities to 33 retail locations across the United States.

Result

As a result of our intervention, the holiday packaging program was a success at Bloomingdale's. Our prompt response and the proximity of our factories to the U.S. was a crucial success factor.
